Penang Hill

We went to Penang Hill today. Wake up about 7.30AM. Then start moving from my house to Penang Hill and reach there about 8.15AM. Saw a bunch of kids.. Most probably a school visits.. Damn noisy!!

We went straight to the counter to buy the ticket. This is what the main entrance to the ticket counter looks like..

Just beside this building, there is a small fountain.. Have to wait for the bunch of kids to finish taking their pictures then only we got our turn.. But anyway, we met a very nice family that offer to help us to take photo for us.. Well...its still early in the morning, so we look kinda still sleeping. Hahaha..

After bought the ticket, we must go and wait in a small waiting area for the train.

The railway was built in 1923 and it takes about half an hour to the top. I quickly take a photo once I get into the train as there is many many many people come rushing in!!!

There is about 5 to 6 station en route to the top of the hill. We have to change the train in the middle of the trip as the train route is seperated into two. This is what we see before reaching to the top..

Just minutes before reaching the top, we saw a tunnel.. Just a short one.. About 20 meters long only..

After aboard from the train, I use a binocular to have a view of the whole Penang Island..

We are very hungry at the moment and is looking for food up here. Just wondering what kinda food we can get here.. There is some stalls here once we exit this station.. But only sell drinks..
As we walk I can actually see the whole Penang from here!!

Got a few interesting places here to be walk around here actually. The first is the De Canopy walk.. But unfortunately, it is closed for maintenance!!!
Have a Botanical Garden and a Tea Shop.. But must walk about one and a half hour from here to get there.. So my decision is just find some food nearby is sufficient for me.. Hahahaha

As I walk, I found a Mehendi stall!!! Right up here in Penang Hill!! But I just ignore it since I am not interested doing here at this moment. Then saw a stall selling grasshopper.. Fake grasshopper made from Cogongrass.. RM1 each..

Finally!! We saw a place!! Food stalls!!! Charge!!!!
But only a few choices of foods only.. A nasi lemak stall, nasi tomato, roti canai and a few drink stalls. No choice.. Just take a simple nasi lemak and nasi goreng kampung here..

There is a wooden train just beside this food stall.. Actually doesn't know what exactly this is for but I just went up and take a few pictures here.. Hahahahaha..

After some short walk, we finally run out of gas and just wanted to go back and rest..
On the way back just took a picture of another train take come towards us the opposite way!!
But luckily the train didn't collided as there is two rail line for it.. Heheheh.

It's 12pm when we reach back down here.. If you are an adventure type and like to walk around, you can sure spend a lot of time up there.. Lastly, I don't recommend this place for lazy people like me as I can't walk long!! Hahahaha!!!

Selamat Hari Raya!!

We start the engine around 10am after our breakfast in Vooley.
We use the old route to Cameron.. and to my goodness, the roads is like a snake..

I nearly pengsan when i reach Tanah Rata ( A village in Cameron).
We stop by a Tea shop namely Cameron Valley and take our tea.. Damn lots of people!!

I got two kuli to buy tea for us. Hahahaha.. They buy two types of tea.

This is the 1st one.

This is my 2nd kuli..

The 1st tea is kinda normal type.. RM12 for medium size...
But the smell is exceptionally good when the teapot is put on the table..
The 2nd tea kinda hav a good smell oso.. But they add Bunga Lawang inside..
I really can't tahan the taste of this tea. And to make thing worst, this tea cost more..
RM18 for medium size..

Anyway we oso bought some muffin while enjoying our tea..

After finish, we went for a walk just beside this shop. A hill of teas!!
So I help my bro to take the picture of the entrance to this small hill.
Look carefully on the left hand side of the picture. An idiot is standing there..Hehehehe..
The above look like Tai Yi Long only..Hehehehe
We walk all the way up to the hill and this is what it looks like from above..

We oso take some pictures here before we go down..

Oh my god!!! How long is it since my last blog!!??
U know wat?? the stupid telekom really..i mean REALLY sucks..
Took so many months to just transfer the account.
But basically it would be Penang Telekom who sucks..
Problems here n there..
If there is another telco around , i will definitely leave this so called
"T.E.L.E.K.O.M"

Local Telco Sucks!!!

Oh my god...
Three weeks...Its 3 weeks!!!!!
What is the telco is doing?? Until now I haven't get back my phone and internet line.
Is it so hard to change this? Is it so many people change their phone number and internet?

One word..
L.A.Z.Y..

L.A.M.E

Anyone notice in the news lately that in a government hospital got a doctor reading newspaper while "waiting" for the patient to come in?? I think most of the so call "monopoly" industry tend to do this..

What to do? They are the only one in the country.. Even Simon supports me!!!

Local telco sucks!!!

No Internet!!!!

Oh, my god!!! It sucks that you can't get online for nearly a week!!
I am transferring to another state to work.. So the phone line and internet have to be transfer also.
But according to the TMPoint staff, they say I need to wait for a week to get the new connection..
Now everyday can't online....Life sucks!!!

See how frustrating am I...

And she also the same..

Paddy Museum

This week I went to Muzium Padi in Alor Setar. Takes about 15 minutes drive from my house.
The route to here is very smooth as this museum is located in quite a secluded area. This is how it looks like for afar.

This is the main entrance.

Outside at the parking, there is a big white horse that will look after our car.

The entrance fee is RM 3 per entry. Additional RM 2 is chargeable if want to take photo..
Take photo also have to be charged.... Say only want to educate younger generation to know old generation... After pay them, we have to go up a stairs to go to the so call "3D Alor Setar".
Once I reach upstairs, it is only a big, I mean BIG drawing in a 360 dimension. The floor will rotate slowly and there is chairs to be seated.
Once you sit and enjoy, you will find that the picture suddenly become quite real and you will feel as you are in the middle of a kampung.

Besides this 360 dimension, there is miniature of all our tradisional food produce by paddy or rice..
Overall, there is nothing much to see here..
So we went outside to see if there is anything. There is a lot of eagles flying around here and he manage to make an eagle to "land" on his hand..

Later, I found a lion in here!! I befriended with this lion. It is very friendly as I am allowed to take photo with it.

But I don't know why that this lion doesn't like him.. When he try to go and take photo with this lion, it bite him!!

Later this stupid guy says he want to get a revenge. He wait and wait for hours just to get a chance to go behind this lion... And he did this to it.. Still say this is taught by Kakashi.. Gila boy..

So this is all about the Paddy Museum.. Totally not recommended to come..
